Vendor Booths

What: This year’s Rougarou Fest in downtown Houma will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 10am to 10pm and Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 10am to 5pm. The Rougarou Fest is a family-friendly festival with a spooky flair that celebrates the rich folklore that exists along the bayous of Southeast Louisiana. It is also the primary fundraiser supporting the South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center, a nonprofit, tax exempt organization, that is revolutionizing how we think, teach and learn about Louisiana’s disappearing coast. We are expecting 8,000+ people to attend the festival this year. You can learn more about the festival from our Facebook page at or visit our website at

When: On Saturday, October 21, 2017 booths MUST operate between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. On Sunday, October 22, 2017 booths MUST operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vendors may choose to operate on just one day of the festival or both days.

How: Vendors will be assigned a 10×10 space and are responsible for providing their own tent, tables, chairs, lighting, extension cords, garbage cans and change.

Where: Vendor booths will be located in the area surrounding the courthouse square.

Booth Fee: $75 per 10×10 space for one or both days. There will be no refunds in the event of inclement weather. Booth spaces are to be reserved on a first-come first-served basis. $25 extra for electricity. NOT ALL VENDORS ARE ACCEPTED. If your application is not accepted, all fees will be returned.

Coastal Organizations: We invite area non-profit organizations that are working to preserve Louisiana’s wetlands or are educating our residents about the challenges we face in our coastal communities to participate in the Rougarou Fest.
