Let out your inner wolf at the Rougarou Fest Howling Contest, taking center stage on the Woodside Energy Stage at 8:00 PM on Friday, October 17, 2025 – the thrilling kickoff night of the festival!

This spine-tingling competition, where participants howl into the night beneath our spooky stage lights, is full of hilarious howls that evoke the spirit of the Cajun werewolf legend.

Sign up at the registration tent next to the stage! Only the first 10 kids and 10 adults will get to howl, and winners take home a yummy gift certificate!
